Billiant– a Telavox company

eRate BSS AB brand change to “Billiant – A Telavox Company” to enhance market communication. Most of the founding software engineers from 1999 still operative in the company.

2022

Telavox

Telavox acquire all of eRate. eRate BSS AB become part of the Telavox Group.

2021

eRate + Billiant = eRate BSS AB

eRate acquires Billiant, forming eRate BSS AB. Billiant to become main BSS software for eRate SaaS solutions.

2015

Real-time BSS

Caleo join forces with Stockholm based Telecom company Symsoft. Goal is to create a Real-time BSS offering by integrating Billiant and the Symsoft Online Charging System.

2002-2014

First SaaS customers launched on Billiant.

Customers implement Billiant for VoIP, Mobile, Power, IPTV, messaging and more in the Nordics, Spain and Egypt. First SaaS customers launched on Billiant.

Caleo Technologies is born

Founder buy-out of the Billiant product. Caleo Technologies started. Continues development of the product.

2000

Billiant AB is founded

Billiant AB founded and the initial development of the Billiant BSS was started by a team of software engineers in Gothenburg. The goal was to create a BSS for Any Service over Any Network overcoming shortcomings of many existing BSS systems..

1998-1999

A new dawn for mobile telephony

Transition from Fixed Line to Mobile telephony takes off. Internet predicted to be the next bearer of all communication services. Need for convergent Billing systems.
